Sex! That's right, friends, Professor Perry Bartlett has studied the process of brain cell creation and has found, among other things, that sexual activity stimulates the creation of neurons, which he thinks might be essential for normal, healthy brain functions.
His team also found that, "if you put an animal on a wheel and let it run ad libitum and they run up to about 10 kilometres overnight, they make about twice as many neurones."
Seems like we might be on the right track with this running/walking obsession. Do any of you guys feel smarter?
